The B.C. Action Centre is a DHL funded mini-employment resource centre where the services and activites of a committee are based.  The Adjustment Centre offers a focus on meeting the adjustment needs of the affected workers.  It has a strong commitment to a shared self-help approach using trained Peer Helpers and volunteers.  It provides access for laid off workers to conduct their job searches.  It also provides referrals to counselling services.

The Adjusmtent Centre refers workers to existing services offered by government, public institutions and community agencies; it does not attempt to duplicate them.
